Anyone for Tennis in Beaulieu There is a beautiful tennis club located behind the Port des Fourmis in the gardens surrounding the beautiful La Rotonde museum. It has eight clay courts and has played host to junior and senior international tournaments. Facilities include a club house, restaurant, bar, changing rooms and grandstands. It is also just across the road from the beach at La Baie des Fourmis, always handy if you have worked up a sweat and need some R&R;

Look out for big events These courts have played host to international tournaments and international tennis stars have played here.

Beachy Beaulieu There are two beach areas in Beaulieu. Les Petit Afrique accessed by the port and La Baie des Fourmis on the western edge of town beside the tiny private port. Both areas have beautiful crystal clear waters to swim in and are well facilitated with bars, restaurants and beach clubs. Les petite Afrique probably offers more in the way of dining and sports activities as it is close to the marina. Both have spectacular views and are family orientated.

Bring toys Anything that floats, bounces or surfs is always good and there is plenty of space for playing under tree shade.

Watersports in Beaulieu You are never far away from a water sports centre in the South of France and Beaulieu is no different. Through the Yacht club in Beaulieu you have access to sailing courses, kayaking, catamarans and wind surfing. From the Beach you have the option of jet skiing, water skiing and parascending. Go walking in Beaulieu Beaulieu is surrounded by incredible mountains that arrive at the waters edge in one fell swoop. It not only makes for a wonderful view but it also provides some beautiful walking options. There are several walks marked out, from gentle sea side strolls to more significant and longer hikes up into the hills. Architectural tour of Beaulieu Beaulieu-sur-mer came to prominence on the tourist route in the late 1800's and the turn of the last century. It's grand architecture reflects the affluence of it's new visitors and residents who built their homes here or stayed in the grand hotels built for their pleasure. Visit the Casino for it's 1920's style, La Rotonde for a glorious view of Belle Epoch architecture and the Villa Kérylos built in the style of a Greek villa in the early 1900's.
