The villa has wonderful outside space with an enclosed garden and fabulous terrace. The terrace has dining furniture for guests to share alfresco meals while overlooking the beautiful vista, and there are sun beds for relaxing around the impressive swimming pool.

The villa is split over three levels and has a total of five double bedrooms. The entire property is decorated in a simple, classic style with very elegant and homely touches throughout. The ground floor is actually an independent apartment with 2 double bedrooms, a well appointed bathroom, shower room and WC. The apartment also has a kitchen as well as a living room with cosy furnishings and tasteful decor. The garden level of the villa is a beautifully light space with an open-plan living area that opens directly onto the terrace and swimming pool. The traditional, country-style kitchen is also found on this level and opens onto the terrace, making it a bright and airy space for preparing meals. There is also a casual dining space in the room as well as an oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The more formal, interior dining room has incredible panoramic windows that provide breathtaking views over the surrounding hillside, making it an idyllic setting for a special meal.

The garden level also has two bedrooms, both of which are bright, spacious rooms with double beds, and both rooms benefit from sea views and an access onto the terrace. A well appointed bathroom, shower room and two WC’s are also provided on this level.

The third floor contains the luxurious and elegantly decorated master bedroom. This is a stunning room with its own private terrace and splendid sea views that create a very private, fresh and tranquil space.

As the property has parking, guests can easily choose between the Mediterranean sea or the superb swimming pool right at home to enjoy the sunshine.

Mandelieu is at the base of the first slopes of the Esterel Mountains and has sandy beaches from which you can see the Lerins islands. There are both public and private areas of the beach to choose from. To feel the essence of the town, there are fabulous morning markets filled with local produce and crafts making an ideal way to start the day and to participate in local tradition. These markets are held four times a week, Wednesday to Saturday, and are lively events, full of colour from the produce, aromatic Provencal herbs and fascinating local crafts.

Although this is one of the smaller Riviera towns, Mandelieu is steeped in history, which is evident with the beautiful Château de la Napoule. This Medieval fortress stands on the edge of the coastline and has been subject to an eventful history but was rescued in the early 20th century by an artistic couple that turned it into a fairytale castle with beautiful gardens. Guided tours are available of the castle and its grounds, making for a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

For a another fun afternoon activity, restaurant L’Oasis has a cookery school where guests can partake in either a tasting, pastry or themed cookery course which offers a unique holiday experience.

Mandelieu is not far from the decadent city of Cannes and is also within easy driving distance of many other Riviera locations such as Monaco, Nice and Antibes. Italy is also just over an hour away from the property.
