Villa Provencal Grasse St Jean Features & Room Descriptions

The villa is situated inside a private, gated domain which comprises beautiful landscaped gardens, a swimming pool and heated jacuzzi, pool and dining terraces and parking for up to three cars. The gardens are beautifully kept with a wide variety of colourful flowers, bushes and cacti as well as palm, olive and orange trees.

From the overflow, infinity-edge, 10m x 5m swimming pool with outdoor, heated jacuzzi, there are beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and all the way out to the Mediterranean.

There are two very generous, stone terrace areas. The dining terrace has a dining table which can seat up to eight guests and it is surrounded by lovely plants, and trees. The pool terrace contains the swimming pool which is lined with sunloungers, parasols and tables.

Saint Jean is a small, traditional town located within the commune of Grasse in the Alpes-Maritime department on the French Riviera. The villa is situated in a private domain just outside Saint Jean in the hills overlooking the valley which contains Chateauneuf, Opio and Placassier.

Some on the main attractions in Grasse include the 11th century Cathedrale, the Saracen tower and the monumental gate of the Hotel de Ville. Grasse is also one of the major perfume capitals of the world and is home to International Perfume Museum and the Fragonard Museum.

It is just 20km from the sandy beaches and glamour of Cannes, 29km from the magnificent coaslines and ports of Antibes, 44km from the bustling city of Nice and 66km from the Principality of Monaco. The train station, Gare de Grasse is just a few minutes away by car and offers connections to Cannes, Nice and Ventimiglia.

The entrance hall leads into the lounge which is tastefully decorated using light natural tones, soft materials and wooden furnishings. There is a large, white sofa and antique armchairs surrounding the coffee table and facing the flat-screen television with satellite TV.

In the corner lies the large, log fireplace; a traditional Provencale touch. The living room is open-plan with the adjoining dining room and kitchen and also leads out onto the dining terrace.

The kitchen is open-plan and fully equipped incuding an oven, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer, kettle and a coffee machine. All tableware and kitchen utensils are provided and there is also a breakfast bar with three high chairs plus direct access out to the dining terrace.

The first bedroom is located on the ground floor. It is a colourful and cozy doubleroom which has bedside tables, reading lamps, armchairs, a lounge chair and a chest of drawers. There is also direct access to the terrace which is shared with the second bedroom. The shared bathroom and WC are located between the first and second bedrooms.

The second bedroom is also located on the ground floor and is a bright twinroom, ideal for a party travelling with children. It has a bedside table with drawers, an alarm clock, a reading lamp and has access to the ground floor terrace which is shared with the first bedroom. The shared bathroom and WC is located between the second and first bedrooms.

The third bedroom is located on the first floor. It is a a lovely double bedroom with air-conditioning and an ensuite shower room. It has bedside tables, white wardrobes and access to the upper level terrace which is shared with the master bedroom and has outdoor furniture and spectacular mountain and sea views.

The master bedroom is located on the upper floor. It has a queen-size bed with a beautiful French feature headboard, a dressing room, full ensuite bathroom and air-conditioning. There is also a large, master bedroom living area with features such as classic, white French furnishings, a full-sized mirror, a white sofa as well as access to the upper level terrace.

The master ensuite bathroom is fully tiled using white and terracotta tones which complement each other beautifully. There is a large mirror, twin washbasins and plenty of cupboard space for personal items.

This is the ensuite shower room adjoining the third bedroom. The room is fully tiled using blue and white tiles. There is a shower, heated towel rail, a large mirror and a single washbasin.
