Châteauneuf de Grasse Countryside Villa is a beautifully restored bastide set in the middle of an old olive grove and located on the south-facing hills of Châteauneuf de Grasse at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. It is only five minutes outside Châteauneuf and within easy reach of Grasse, Valbonne, Villeneuve-Loubet, Nice, Cannes, Antibes and the rest of the Cote d’Azur. This villa has one and half acres of charmingly landscaped terraces with century old trees. At 330m altitude the villa has stunning panoramic seaviews over both Antibes Bay and Théoule Bay and unspoilt country views over Opio, Valbonne, Mougins and Cannes.
The villa consists of a main house and a guest house. There is also a large swimming pool in the gardens with a pool house complete with kitchenette and a garage. The main house has three floors. The garden level has a large living room, a TV room with a fireplace, a reception room, a family room and a large modern fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs. All rooms have magnificent panoramic views. On the entrance level you will find three ensuite bedrooms. All the bedrooms have king-size beds which can be made up as twins and south-facing terraces for enjoying the view. The upper floor has two more bedrooms also with king-size beds that can be made up as twins. There is one bathroom on this floor and a private terrace with full panoramic views.

The guest house has a large south-facing living room that also has two spare beds. There is a single bedroom which is south-facing and a double room which is west-facing. The double room has a king-sized bed which can be made up as twins. The guest house also has a bathroom.

It is only five minutes outside Châteauneuf de Grasse village and within easy reach of the smaller villages of Opio (2.3km, 5 mins), Grasse (7km, 14 mins), Valbonne (7km, 10 mins), Mougins (11.5km, 21 mins), Villeneuve-Loubet (16.8km, 26 mins) and the larger towns of Cannes (24km, 32 mins), Antibes (20km, 33 mins), Nice (31.7km, 46 mins), Monaco (54km, 60 mins), St Tropez (100km, 92 mins) and the rest of the Cote d’Azur. Chateauneuf de Grasse is a pretty little village listed as one of the historic sites of the Alpes-Maritimes with the houses dating back to the 16th and 17th century. The houses have ornate windows with sculptures in the form of shells on the house fronts. Opio, also only 5 minutes away, is a perched village surrounded by trees. Roses and jasmine are grown here for the Grasse perfume industry. Worth a visit is the Grande Bastide olive grove and 15th century olive mill which is still in operation.
Grasse is 7km away (14 mins) and is the worlds perfume capital and has been producing perfume since the 17th century. This is a beautiful historic town to explore with narrow streets, shaded squares, fountains, café terraces and boutiques and stalls. As well as the perfume museums, factories and shops, the 11th century Notre-Dame du Puy cathedral is not to be missed. Valbonne is also 7km away (10 mins) and is a delightful little town where you will find chic boutiques, restaurant terraces, antique dealers and craft shops. You can also explore the old monastery built in the Romanesque – Gothic style or the recently restored Roman aqueduct.
Roquefort-les–pins is only 8.4km away (13 mins) and comprises of a series of hamlets in the midst of a pine forest. You can explore the caves, the prehistoric remains in the Museum de Grasse or the 19th century church of Notre Dame (Chapel of Sacré-Coeur). 11.5km away (20 mins) is the pretty medieval town of Mougins famous for its gourmet restaurants and cookery school. Mougins holds its International Festival of Gastronomy in September. It is also famous for its art studios and galleries and even Picasso lived here for a short time.
For outdoor enthusiasts the nature park of La Brague is on your doorstep with 480 hectares where you will find botanical trails, hiking, horse riding and many more outdoor activities. There is also golf, tennis, boules and many more outdoor activities close by. If it’s a day at the beach you are looking for either head for Villeneuve Loubet (25 mins) which stretches down to the coast and 4km of beautiful sandy beaches or alternatively head for the beaches and glamour of Cannes, just 30 minutes away.
