This is a bright apartment situated in the very centre of Nice. Located on the main commercial street, Avenue Jean Médecin, and just across from Nice's beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral, this property sets all the wonders of the city within easy strolling distance. The tram is on the doorstep and the train station is just a 5-minute walk away, while the sunny beaches and the beautiful Promenade des Anglais are just a 10-minute walk from the apartment.

This apartment is on the last floor of a classic Niçois building that is equipped with a lift. The property has one bedroom and can accommodate 4 guests. It has light, modern décor with homely touches throughout making it a comfortable and restful living space.

The living room is excellently equipped and includes a TV with French cable and some English channels. There is also a DVD player, WiFi and a telephone with free international landline calls provided in the apartment. The living room has two sofas, one of which becomes a double sofa bed with a futon-style mattress. There are French windows that provide an attractive city view from the living room and open onto a balcony.

The balcony is a wonderful spot where guests can truly appreciate the sights and sounds of the city. The property is opposite the newly renovated Notre Dame Cathedral, which when illuminated at night becomes one of the city’s most spectacular features. Guests can enjoy views over the city and hills and relax with an aperitif as the cathedral takes centre stage. The balcony also is equipped with a table and chairs.

The spacious kitchen is independent from the living room and has a pleasant breakfast area for four. Hand-carved light wood cabinets and blue tiles give this room a French country feel. It is well equipped with an oven, stove, microwave and a washing machine.

The bedroom has a contemporary French décor with comfortable furnishings. There is a double bed, full-length mirror and a closet. The bedroom benefits from its own balcony, also with a table and chairs, and is ideal for a sunny continental breakfast.

The bathroom has good storage, which is helpful when four guests are staying. It is fully tiled with a stand up shower, toilet and a large basin unit.

This wonderful city apartment provides a perfectly located and relaxing property for guests to travel around Nice. It couldn't’t be any more central as it is situated on the main high street with the train station 5 minutes to the north and the beach 10 minutes to the south.

The beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral is opposite the property; it is truly one of city’s most splendid features. Built in the latter part of the 19th century, this is the largest church in Nice and has an impressive façade that can be enjoyed from the balcony of the apartment.

Another pearl of Nice is only a 10 minute walk away and isn’t widely known by tourists. It is the wonderful food markets of Liberation, just north of the property. This is a bustling hive of activity filled with the colour, smells and noises of a typical French market. Fresh local produce gives shoppers the true Provençal essence of the city.

Nice isn’t just a summer resort, it has countless cultural aspects to it with many museums and art galleries to enjoy at any time of the year. However, the 7 kilometres of beaches offer a superb amount of space on which guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

Within walking distance of the property is also the picturesque Port, historical Old Town and the designer shops of the Carré d’Or district. Nice itself is centrally located along the Riviera, in between Cannes and Monaco. Guests can easily discover both the Provençal and glamorous areas of the Riviera from this property, or just relax on the beach.
