This cosy 1-bedroom apartment is located in central Nice, just a 5-minute walk from the main train station, a 10-minute stroll from the beaches and Promenade des Anglais and just 5 minutes from Nice's main high street, Avenue Jean Médecin. Plenty of great amenities are found just outside the door and the excellent nearby transport links allow guests to explore other wonderful Riviera destinations with ease.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor of an Art Deco building with a lift. Upon entering the property, guests can enjoy a quiet, homely atmosphere with comfortable, simple décor and all the comforts of home. With lovely hardwood flooring throughout and two Juliette balconies found in the bedroom and the living area, the apartment has a traditional feel and enjoys calm views over a courtyard with beautiful palm trees set between the neighbouring buildings.

The apartment has a sunny, open-plan living and dining room that is also shared with the kitchen area. Although a one-bedroom property, the apartment can accommodate 4 guests as there is a high-quality sofa bed for two provided in the living room.

The living area is an inviting room with a flat screen cable TV, DVD player and a CD player found in a large cabinet next to the dining space. The dining area comfortably seats 4 and is set next to tall French doors which open onto the Juliette balcony and offer pretty views over the courtyard.

The kitchen is well-equipped to cater for holiday meals and includes a full-size oven, microwave, refrigerator, 4-burner hob, washing machine and all of the other necessary extras for cooking at home.

The bathroom is found at the entrance of the property and is a polished, modern space fitted with attractive tiling, a large mirror, sink, WC and a shower cubicle. There is also a spacious mirrored wardrobe at the entrance of the apartment for guests to store their luggage and belongings.

The bedroom is located next to the bathroom and is a sunny room with pretty French doors that also open up to a Juliette balcony facing the impressive palm trees. The bedroom is charming and cosy with homely touches and a double bed, a large built-in wardrobe and full-length mirrors on both the sliding doors of the wardrobe and on the back of the bedroom door.

The property also benefits from beautiful high ceilings with decorative details that give a lovely old-world charm to the rooms and the apartment's French doors are equipped with shutters to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. Complimentary WiFi Internet is also provided in the property.

Nice is a city of many sides and this apartment is excellently located to benefit from all of them. Heading towards the seafront, a short detour leads further into the Musicians Quarter and the Carré d’Or district which show some of the nicest Belle Epoque architecture on the Riviera. On reaching the Promenade, the most famous example is undoubtedly the magnificent Negresco hotel, with its distinctive terracotta and green dome overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Just along the Promenade, the impressive Opera House marks the start of the Old Town. Here the narrow winding streets with tall buildings of apartments have changed very little over the last 400 years, save for the addition of some lively bar and restaurant terraces and some quaint art galleries and souvenir shops. The Old Town is Nice’s centre of nightlife with plenty of live music and street performers providing high-quality entertainment throughout the year.

For another side of Nice, the tranquil neighbourhood of Cimiez is accessible by bus or by foot for those who feel like a climb. From the higher point of the hill of Cimiez, splendid views and elegant private homes are in abundance while the beautiful gardens and Roman amphitheatre offer wonderful spots for a quiet picnic away from the centre of town, but without straying too far from the apartment. This is also where the Matisse and Chagall museums are housed, an ideal way to spend a rare cloudy day in Nice.

While Nice itself has plenty to offer visitors for a short or longer stay, it is also ideally situated to explore all that the rest of the coast has to offer. Easy access to Nice Gare, the central train station, means that guests of this property can be in Monaco in 35 minutes, Italy in 45 and Cannes in 30 minutes, to name but a few.
