The Cours Saleya is one of the most well-known streets in the Old Town of Nice, being home to its flower market as well as an evening market from which you can buy all manner of souvenirs from your stay on the Riviera. Excellent restaurants are just seconds from your door, as are cafés, bars, and boutiques. Despite this proximity to the nightlife of Nice, the apartment benefits from its location, set back from the main street in a quiet courtyard, to provide a calm atmosphere in which to escape the stresses and strains of your daily life.
The apartment itself consists is ideal for a couple or small family. Open plan in its design, the kitchen and living area are bright and spacious with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is fully-equipped and in the sitting room area there is a double sofa bed and television. The bedroom features a welcoming double bed and beautifully appointed bathroom area, with a luxury corner bath and wash basin located in the corner of the room. The wc is separate, near to the entry of the property.
On the Cours Saleya you are but seconds from the Promenade des Anglais and its many public and private beaches, and a ten minute walk from the Chateau with its waterfall and panoramic view over the Baie des Anges, or the port of Nice. Equally close are the narrow winding streets of the Old Town, filled with boutiques and cafés, including many establishments specialising in traditional Nicois food such as 'socca' bread. A few minutes' walk will take you to Place Massena, the newly-refurbished main square with its silent tramway, and the major shopping streets of Avenue Jean Medecin (high street shopping), Rue du Paradis and Rue Alphonse Karr (designer boutiques).
Transport links are all close to hand, with the central bus station and tram stops at just a few minutes from the apartment and the central train station a fifteen minute walk. Nice is the ideal base from which to visit the whole of the Cote d'Azur including Cannes, Antibes, Monte Carlo and Eze Village, and Italy is only 45 minutes away by train.
