The apartment is set on the first floor of a traditional building and boasts a uniquely large terrace, a real treat for a city centre location. The terrace is shaded by beautiful climbing vines that create a secluded, tranquil outside space and it is equipped with dining furniture for al fresco meals, a comfortable lounge area with an armchair and corner sofa and sun beds for some private relaxation time.

The apartment itself has been completely refurbished and works around a modern, spacious open-plan living area that opens onto the terrace. The living room is a wonderfully bright and airy space that receives plenty of sunlight and has simple yet stylish, contemporary décor that makes it a very inviting place to entertain or gather around the large flat screen TV. The kitchen is excellently equipped for preparing home-cooked meals and includes an oven, 4-ring hob, microwave and even a dishwasher and washing machine for added convenience.

The apartment has two bedrooms that are both bright and cosy with simple furnishings, lovely French windows and air-conditioning. The first bedroom provides a double bed, built-in mirrored wardrobes and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom is a homely room with twin beds for guests with children or for two friends to share.

The property has one bathroom which is also a contemporary space with stylish fittings and a large vanity area with double sinks. The bathroom has a luxurious feel with a modern walk-in shower and the WC is independent from the room.

This is a great holiday rental with versatile sleeping arrangements for varied groups of guests, and the excellent central location and proximity to the beach, city attractions and public transport links allow guests to make the most of the city and surrounding areas. The apartment is situated at the edge of the area known as the Musician's quarter which is full of beautiful architecture, predominantly from the Belle Epoque and Art Deco eras, and really demonstrates the old elegance of the city.

Heading north of the apartment by tram is an area known as 'Liberation' which hosts a great open-air food and flower market every morning from Tuesday through to Sunday. This is a great way to experience the essence of the city and feel like a local amongst the savvy Niçois shoppers who take pride in carefully choosing the best Mediterranean ingredients from the market's selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs, delicious fish and locally-produced cheese and honey.

The spectacular Bay of Angels is just a 15-minute stroll from the apartment and here guests can wander along the beautiful Promenade des Anglais and enjoy long sunny afternoons on one of Nice's famous pebble beaches. There are several public beaches to enjoy, however if guests are looking for a little Riviera luxury, there are plenty of chic private beaches where one can sip wine from the comfort of a sun lounger, enjoy a lovely of lunch from a seaside restaurant and relax as the sun sets over the horizon.

At the end of the Promenade is the picturesque 'Colline du Château', or Castle Hill, which is the original site of Nice's first Greek founders. At the top one can look out over breathtaking views of the bay and city on one side of the hill and the colourful port full of fishing boats and yachts on the other.

Nestled beneath the hill is the charming Old Town of Nice which is an authentic, scenic part of the city with stunning churches and attractive squares in which to enjoy a coffee or a delicious ice cream, probably the most popular square being 'Place Rossetti' which is an animated area with cafés, restaurants and the popular 'Fenocchio' gelateria offering over 90 unique flavours of ice cream to choose from. The winding streets of the Old Town are lined with little boutiques and fascinating art studios and the many restaurants, bars and cafés fill the streets with their buzzing terraces.

The property is also only moments from the central train station making it very easy to discover the surrounding towns and villages. The glittering lights of Monaco are just a half an hour away by train to the east of Nice and the glamour of Cannes is just 40 minutes to the west, with many other coastal gems found between the cities such as Villefranche-sur-Mer, Eze and Antibes.
