The apartment can sleep up to four guests and is situated on the 4th floor of a lovely apartment building with a lift set within a gated complex full of Mediterranean greenery. The apartment features a long, private, south-facing balcony with a sunshade and beautiful views over palm trees and the rooftops of historic buildings offering a perfect spot for a sunny breakfast, relaxing aperitif or a romantic dinner at the small table and chairs provided.

The very spacious, open-plan living and dining area is kept wonderfully bright from four sets of French doors that line the walls and open onto the sunny terrace creating a great sense of space and allowing guests to enjoy the city views from inside the apartment.

The living area is an elegant yet comfortable space with a large leather sofa and armchairs as well as a satellite television, DVD player and CD player for a relaxing nights in. Within the open-plan room is also the dining space with a large wooden table and leather chairs for four.

The spacious kitchen is bright and contemporary in design with marble countertops and sleek white fittings. A charming little breakfast area is set in front of French windows that let in the sunshine and offer a pleasant spot to gather around in the mornings. The apartment's master bedroom is a beautifully sunny, fresh room with two French doors that provide access onto the balcony. The bedroom has simple décor with a double bed and elegant, antique touches and the room benefits from a walk-in wardrobe and a nice sitting area with a small table and wicker chairs to enjoy a good book in privacy.

The second bedroom is decorated in a similar fashion and also has a double bed and French doors that provide city views. A large chest of drawers is provided for storage and floor fans keep the bedrooms cool during the summer months.

The property conveniently has two bathrooms, one of which is a full separate bathroom with pretty mosaic tiling, a corner bath with a hand-held shower, a WC, bidet and vanity area with plenty of storage. The second bathroom is an en-suite shower room that is very well-appointed with modern fittings and a sink, vanity area and shower cubicle. There is also a separate WC.

The apartment is also equipped with WiFi Internet and central heating and pets are welcome to stay. For guests who are travelling with a car, a secure private parking space for one car found just outside of the building is available to rent for an extra fee.

The Carré d’Or district of Nice is one of the most beautiful areas of the city boasting stunning architecture with impressive Bourgeois buildings from the Belle Epoque era. A large section of the quarter consists of a pedestrian zone that is packed with unique shops, designer boutiques and great restaurants, and the whole area has a thriving café culture and the lively atmosphere of a cosmopolitan French city.

The Bay of Angels and the Promenade des Anglais with its long stretch of pebble beaches is only a 5-minute stroll from the apartment and here guests can enjoy long days at one of the public beaches or indulge in a bit of luxury with sun bed rentals and waiter service at one of the chic, luxury private beaches.

The beautiful Place Massena square is also just a short stroll down the pedestrian street and at the other end of the square is Nice's charming, historic Old Town that offers a true taste of the traditional side of Nice with delicious Niçois and Italian restaurants, interesting art galleries and Provençal shops as well as a fantastic open-air food and flower market that takes place in the mornings on the animated Cours Saleya restaurant strip which runs parallel to the Promenade.

The main train station of Nice is only a 10-minute walk from the apartment and from here guests can easily access many of the other gems found along the coast such as Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and even San Remo in Italy. Only one stop to the east of Nice is the colourful, picturesque town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Nestled in a gorgeous bay, this striking seaside town is a wonderful place to spend the day. With a long coarse sand beach, calm waters and an enchanting Old Town, Villefranche is one of the most scenic spots along the Riviera and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
