International Luxury Travel Market 2013

ILTM is the primary international conference on global luxury travel and tourism. It is a highly organised ‘invitation only’ event which welcomes industry leaders and experts to network, share ideas and communicate on the booming market and the latest advances in international travel.

The event is held over four days in the purpose-built conference and events centre, Palais des Festivals, situated on the famous Croisette in Cannes. It is one of a series of annual events which fall under the same name, including ILTM Asia, Americas, Africa and Japan. The structure of the conference is based around timed meetings and networking sessions where representatives from various aspects of the industry can broaden their knowledge of what’s going on around the world in the luxury travel market. Networking is organised on a pre-scheduled basis allowing all who attend to have a fair chance at meeting one another. The timetabling for the appointments is based on preferences provided by attendees to help to make the four days as efficient as possible and it is possible for any one representative to have anything up to 52 appointments over the duration of the event.

ILTM kicks off on the afternoon of the first day and from then on is open from 9am for appointments with a small lunch break in the middle of the day, which can also be used for other networking opportunities. The opening forum takes place on the first evening and on the second day there is an event party for a more relaxed side of the gathering.

The event takes place in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes which is most famous for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival, as well as several other prominent international gatherings.
