Nice Carnival is set to start soon, on February 15th and will be a welcome relief for everyone after the long nights of Winter which have kept everyone at home. The Carnival, one of the longest running Carnivals in the world will run day and night with musicians, floats, dancers and the infamous flower battles to entertain.
The theme this year is King of the five continents which will be represented in the huge colourful floats that will grace the seafront during the 15 day spectacle.
There are ticketed stands all along the Promenade des Anglais or in Place Massena for your viewing comfort with prices starting at 5 Euro and costing not more than 10 Euro but there are also free standing areas so that everyone can enjoy the processions. You can book tickets online or buy them from ticket booths dotted around Place Massena.
